Dental Stem Cells in Your Future?

Some day we will be able to offer you another option if you have to replace a missing tooth. In addition to the traditional bridge, or dental implant, we will grow your own stem cells and them implant them into your jaw to re-grow the root for the tooth you are missing, and then place a BRILLIANT!!!!

Donate your stem cells to research, or bank them for your future use:
If you are having an extraction of an otherwise healthy tooth, a wisdom tooth or a tooth to make room for orthodontic treatment, you can donate or bank the stem cells in that tooth. We will preserve the tooth and surrounding tissue upon extraction. After completing the procedure, we submit your tooth to NDPL for research or for your own use later. See link to NDPL for articles on stem cell use now.

DMG America Introduces Icon Drill-Free Treatment for Incipient Caries and White Spot Lesions

by DMG America press release

ENGLEWOOD, NJ, USA: DMG America has introduced a new approach to treating incipient caries, Icon, a caries infiltrant. Until now, dental professionals had only two options for treating caries: fluoride and other remineralization therapies, if caries were not too advanced; or the 'wait and see' until it was time to 'drill and fill' approach. Caries infiltration is a major breakthrough in micro-invasive technology that fills, reinforces and stabilizes demineralized enamel without drilling or sacrificing healthy tooth structure.
Icon represents a new category of dental products, said Tim Haberstumpf, DMG America director of marketing. It is the first product to bridge the gap between prevention (fluoride therapy) and caries restoration. Icon's micro-invasive infiltration technology can be used to treat smooth surface and proximal carious lesions up to the first third of dentin (D-1). In just one patient visit, Icon can arrest the progression of early enamel lesions and remove white spot lesions.
